VIRginia International Raceway 2019

This was my first time driving at VIR and let me tell you how the uphill esses are an absolutely inexplicable sensation. In practice we had good pace considering I had never been there. My co- driver Nikko qualified the car in the rain and put us in p3. Starting the race in 3rd, he held tight to that place and handed the car off to me, where I left the pits in 5th. From there I drove to chase down the #47 piloted by Austin McCusker, and just as I went to take his 4th place position in the uphill esses, someone had just blown a motor and coated the track in oil. Ultimately, this sent me off the track and filled my radiators with grass, resulting in very high water temperatures and a retired car.
